KellyStyle:
Up and Coming Footwear Trends
by Kelly Smith

We all know how important shoes are to a woman. It doesn't matter how many pairs we already have, we can always find a reason to buy one more.

Well this season, designers have made it especially difficult to decide on just a pair or two. With all the whimsical details, sexy new looks, and intense, vibrant colors flooding the stores, you will see why this is one of the best season's for shoes.

The most important thing to remember for this season is that you can go high (five-inch stilettos) or low (flats). And lastly, don't forget that adding vibrant colored shoes to an overall neutral look will liven up any old outfit! Enjoy!

Patent pumps in bright bold colors - We've seen this on recent past runway shows but it will continue to dominate the upcoming warmer seasons.

Flats with fun detailing - Flats are still being shown and in so many great styles. From the peep-toe look to jewel accents, it's hard to pick. One basic pair and one fun pair is all you need to be stylish for spring!

Stacked heel platform and wedge - Both of these shoes were big hits for fall and they will remain in our closets for spring and summer. Thick-soled shoes are hotter than ever!

The Lucite look - This transparent material goes with everything. It makes for a fresh looking shoe just in time for spring.

Wooden heels - This style will look great with anything from mini dresses to the slouchy menswear pant.

Anything with silver, sparkles, or satin - Silver is the ultimate metallic right now and sparkles, whether it be small beads or just a shimmer of glitter, adds an extra touch to any look.
