- large piece horseradish root
- ½ cup sugar water (simple syrup)
- 2 medium beets
- 1 cup water
- 2 TBS coarse salt
- 6 TBS lemon juice
- Peel and wash horseradish and beets.
- grind to fine, but coarse, consistency.
- Add salt, sugar, water, and lemon juice.
- Add remaining ingredients and season to taste.
