Love Finds You
in Sugarcreek Ohio
by Serena B. Miller

Love Finds You in Sugarcreek, Ohio is one of a series of "Love Finds You" books.

All of the books are written by people familiar with the cities they write about. Whether it is Love Finds You In … North Pole, Alaska or Lahaina, Hawaii or Hope Kansas, Sun Valley, Idaho, Bethlehem, New Hampshire, Sugarcreek Ohio or one of the dozens of other books in the series, they are all written with the same inspirational feeling.

The series claims not only to provide a romance novel, but to also incorporate a good story with a plot that surpasses "Boy Meets Girl".

In Sugarcreek, Ohio author Serena B. Miller reaches that goal. Sure, some of it is predictable and possibly even trite, but frankly it is a romance novel not classic literature. But to her credit, Miller takes it a step beyond and develops her characters into people with depth and soul.

In addition to the story line, there is a lot of good information about the Amish people and their way of life. "Fun facts" are strewn throughout the book that prove to be not only interesting but accurate as well.

When Englischer Rachel Troyer and her three elderly Amish aunts meet a stranger and his young son their worlds are turned upside down. The book tells a story of murder, celebrity, local police, jealousy, out-of-control youth, greed and does it all without offending the reader in any way.

The entire book is based on a biblical passage from Hebrews "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers for thereby some have entertained angels."

The goal of Summerside Press is to release a story based in every one of the 50 states; some historical, some contemporary. All of the books average 80,000 words and although fictional, all remain true to the area and the era in which they are written.

It is an easy, uplifting and interesting read. The book has "Hallmark Movie" written all over it.
