Savory Beer Bread recipeIngredients:
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 3 TBS granulated sugar
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ teaspoon sweet basil
- ¼ teaspoon rosemary
- 12 ounces good beer (not Lite Beer)
Instructions:
- Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray and sprinkle bottom with a bit of flour or corn meal if desired
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- mix together all dry ingredients
- Slowly add beer. Batter will be a bit stiff
- Pour or spoon into prepared pan and cook for 45-50 minutes
- Allow loaf to cool slightly before turning out onto wire rack
