Charlotte's Web
Julia Roberts heads a big name voice cast in this charming, live action adaptation of the classic E.B. Whiting story about the friendship between Wilbur, a pig, and Charlotte, a spider. A bit of humor enlivens the proceedings, which also explores such worthy subjects of morality, the meaning of friendship and the importance of tolerance.
A fine family film. Very enjoyable.
But this lengthy drama includes so many characters that you lose interest in most of them. It is confusing at times but very suspenseful in its cold war cat and mouse intrigue and features some great performances.
I enjoyed it but kept shifting my body in my seat for this very lengthy performance.
The special effects are the stars of the film. It was good to see old film actors like Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais and Robin Williams.
His son is loosing faith in his dad (Ben Stiller) and wants so much to believe in him. I enjoyed this film but it did seem a bit too long.
The young boy in the film is Smith's real life son, Jaden. "Pursuit" may not be a classic but Will Smith does his character justice. I enjoyed this film but at times I was getting depressed at all the avenues he was trying and was turned down.
I know this happens in real life - but just think of all the people in the world looking for jobs and to make a life.
