Mr. Brooks

This movie is rated R for strong, bloody violence, graphic sexual content, nudity and language.

Kevin Costner plays against type on this thriller about a serial killer controlled by is twisted alter ego, William Hurt. The duo tries to outwit a blackmailing pervert (Dane Cook) and a determined detective (Demi Moore).

I really didn't like Kevin Costner playing this part. I am so used to seeing him playing softer parts. As always, I suggest you go see it and made the decision yourself.

Oceans Thirteen

Here we go again. George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon with a host of others are at it again, swiping a stash of cash from multiple Las Vegas casinos', and all in one night. Of course, they make it to fresh air and fun again.

It just leaves my mind boggled to try to figure out how all of these people come up with the same scheming and tricks they pull off. I missed some of the leading ladies this time, such as Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones.

I totaled enjoyed this one. Do you think there will be an Ocean's 14? Nothing would surprise me! I also like Al Paccino with his cool cunning ways.

Evan Almighty

Steve Carroll plays Evan Baxter from a take off of the movie Bruce Almighty. Now he is a newly elected congressman who has moved into suburban Virginia with his wife and three sons.

Morgan Freeman (God) appears with stacks of wood and orders him to build an ark.

You can take it from there. Many pairs of animals show up. There are big computer generated animals with biblical and environmental messages.

I thought this movie was enjoyable. It was different and amusing.

Evening

A lot of good, old time actresses are in this one: Vanessa Redgrave, Meryl Streep, Glen Close, Natasha Richardson and Toni Collette come together and infuse it with romance and self importance.

It is an interesting story with a lot of flashbacks and a cancer victim.

It is a high-brow chick flick and my friends and I totally enjoyed it. Go see it ladies!

Knocked Up

This whole movie made me sick. All they do is say the "F" word - which is not in my vocabulary. I even object to the title.

People don't work - they are morons. Some of the scenes are vulgar. They say it is hilarious - I say raunchy. Enough said. Save your money.

All these people do is smoke dope, drink beer and have sex! I say 'Get a life'!
