The Day After Tomorrow
Hurricanes, hailstorms and other bad weather make things really chilly. The visual effects are excellent, but can't make up for the empty characters, or plots. Not enough suspense, tension and wonder.
I rate it a C+ (even thought the critics gave it a "D") because they tried to present this movie with many different aspects.
The people in the show clapped when it was over - this hasn't happened in a long time. The show was very crowded with young people.
The women of Stepford are gorgeous, friendly and servants to their husbands. Nicole Kidman moves into town and tries to unearth the secrets behind the robotic women.
This movie had a lot of laughs. I enjoyed the first movie better. This was way out there - save your money!
This is a cute and funny comedy from director Steven Spielberg. Tom Hanks is excellent. This was a different kind of movie and I enjoyed it. My sister didn't. Oh well, can't win them all.
A sweet and tender love story told from the present day by James Garner and Gena Rowlands, who revisit the wonderful relationship of young lovers struggling to reunite after world events pull them apart in the 1940's.
An excellent love story that takes you back to your younger days (if you are in your 60's and 70's). I enjoyed this immensely and so did my three other friends.
Go see it - it was wonderful! Also - Nick Cassavetes directs his real-life mother Gena Rowlands.
