Roasted Garlic-Apple Dressing Ingredients
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced apples (Jonathan or Granny Smith)
- ¼ cup minced green onions
- 2 TBS butter or margarine
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 10 cloves garlic - smashed (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp. Thyme
- 1 TBS chive
- 1 TBS basil
- 4 cups unseasoned croutons
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Gently sauté onions, celery, apples and green onions in butter or margarine.
- When tender, add chicken stock
- reduce chicken stock to approximately one half
- Add garlic and herbs.
- Stir in croutons.
- Put in baking dish and bake until desired crispness.
