Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup boiling water
- 1 TBS fresh lemon zest (peel)
- juice of fresh lemons - about 2 cups
- sliced strawberries
- Sliced lemons
Instructions:
- Dissolve sugar in boiling water
- Add lemon peel and juice but not slices
- refrigerate until cool
- Mix ½ cup of this lemon syrup to each 1 cup of cold water.
- Add sliced strawberries and lemons to glass or pitcher as garnish
