Christmas Cinnamon Pudding
Ingredients For Sauce:
- 4 cups brown sugar
- 3 cups water
- 4 TBS Butter
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- 2 tsp. Durkee Imitation Vanilla
- 1 tsp. Durkee Rum Flavoring
Ingredients For Cake:
- 4 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tsp. Baking powder
- 4 tsp. Durkee ground Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 cups milk
- 4 TBS. melted butter
- 2 tsp. Durkee Imitation Vanilla
- 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions For Sauce:

Prepare sauce first
- combine first 4 ingredients in sauce pan
- Combine first 4 ingredients in sauce pan
- Bring to a boil over a medium heat and cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes
- Remove from heat and stir in Vanilla and Rum flavoring
Instructions For Cake:

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, Cinnamon and salt
- Mix well
- Combine milk, melted butter and Vanilla in a small bowl
- Add all at once to the flour mixture
- Blend quickly
- Spread in a greased 12 x 18 inch steamable pan.
- Pour the sauce over the top
- Do not mix in
- Scatter the pecanse over the sauce
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until the center bubbles up
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
